So this idea of a holistic lifestyle brand is really taking off these days. And Gwyneth Paltrow's Goop brand has caught the wave. Her first permanent store, Goop Lab, opened in Brentwood Country Mart, Santa Monica, back in September 2017 and offers everything from wellness, food, fashion to home furnishings. You can imagine stepping in and the floorboards creek under your feet and the smell of fresh cut flowers draws you in. But what really caught my eye was the interior of this store. I mean who wouldn't want to have a seat and take a load off! The space was designed by the New York design firm Roman and Williams. Known for creating rich layered tones, they really hit the mark in this space. Everything from the grey lounge to the rich magenta carpets to the blue/indigo wall covering invites you to come in and relax without being overpowering.
